Training Training

The training center includes four lecture rooms each equipped with overhead projector, data show, computer, TV, and VCR and a seating for 40 trainees. Also, there are rooms for speakers’ preparation and training administration. The training programs include the following areas: Quality control for construction materials, Analysis of building defects and methods of repair, Building products industry and its development areas, Heat insulation materials and energy conservation in buildings.

Labs Labs

HBRC has 8 different laboratories. All the labs are equipped with up-to-date technologies which serve building industry. Physical models are developed up to full scale in almost all laboratories. The available labs are: strength of materials and quality control; raw materials and processing; building physics; acoustics; reinforced concrete; field measurements for structures and steel bridges; soil mechanics and foundations; and sanitary and environmental engineering.

Library Library

The HBRC library presents a large selection of books, dissertations, periodicals, conferences, groups of journals, encyclopedias, dictionaries, and scientific research. The sources of this collection are the HBRC researchers among others. The number of these precious collections has exceeded 22000 in addition to 7000 media since the existence of HBRC.
