AN INDIAN HIGH OFFICIALS SCIENTIFIC VISIT TO THE MINISTRY OF HOUSING UTILITIES & URBAN COMMUNITIES

Indian Top executive officials had made a scientific visit to Egypt in order to benefit from the Egyptian experience in the field of developing desert areas and establishing new urban communities, and to be aware of the mechanisms of managing, implementing and financing these projects. The delegation was headed by the Union Minister of Urban Development and Poverty alleviation in India including fifty delegates.

The Housing &Building Research Center organized the visit programmed which included field visits to Elobour and Sixth of October cities , in order to study the most important housing projects and the techniques of the private sector participation in developing the Industrial services and housing activities.

It is worth noting that this visit is the second one after the last year visit according to the Indian request to learn from the Egyptian experience in housing and urban development fields.
